PAST CONTINUOS

It was used for actions that were happening at a specific time in the past. Subject Verb to be  Verb+ing   You They We       were  Wrting, Reading, Listening......etc I, He, She,It  was    Writing, Reading, Listening......etc Afirmative sentences  Subject + auxiliary verb (to be) + verb+ing.  Negative Sentences Subject + auxiliary verb (to be) + "not" + verb+ing. Interrogative Sentences  Auxiliary verb (to be) + subject + verb+ing?  Uses  1.It is used for an action in development in the past when another action interrupts it. 2.To talk about actions at a specific time in the past.  3.For two actions that were occurring at the same time in the past.

PAST PERFECT

We use it for actions that occurred before another action in the past.  Subject Auxiliar Verb   Participe      Past I, You, He, She, It, We, They   Had  Visited, Known, Read, etc.. Affirmative Sentences Sujeto + “had” + participio pasado Negative Sentences   Sujeto + “had” + “not” + participio pasado Interrogative Sentences “Had” + sujeto + participio pasado…? PRESENT PERFECT

Is a mixture of the present and the past. How are the sentences formed in english ?

The way a sentence is written varies according to its type. That’s why first, we must understand the different types of sentences.  The particles used in a sentence are:  Subject: it can be either a proper name, common or a pronoun.  Verb: subject to the verbal time of the sentence, depending on the moment when the main action occurs. Complements: they can be either direct or indirect, adverbials, adjectives, etc.  Conjunctions: used to connect the different parts of a sentence and give it meaning.
